YourLife Career Coach

Employment type: Part-time

Hourly pay: $21-26

Location: Hybrid

The YourLife Career Coach provides career coaching to clients one on one and in groups; plans and delivers job-readiness classes related to resumes, interviews, professional networks and more; collaborates with employers to identify employment opportunities; and identifies jobs, resources and vocational trainings that help clients achieve their career/vocational goals.

Career Coaching

  • Identify new clients through outreach efforts 
  • Contact potential clients who have expressed interest in one-on-one career coaching
  • Support and maintain coaching relationship with clients
  • Coordinate one-on-one coaching schedule
  • Meet with clients to understand their career and financial goals
  • Utilize career assessments with clients for career interest, strengths and skill discovery
  • Monitor client’s progress toward goal completion
  • Utilize coaching forms during coaching sessions to empower the client and record progress
  • Provide introduction or linkage to relevant community resources
  • Ensure coaching is delivered in a high-quality manner
  • Follow up with active clients at regular intervals
  • Follow up with clients who have gained employment (30, 60, 90, 120, 180 days)

Vocational Trainings/Job Readiness

YourLife Community Programs Manager

Employment type: Full-time

Salary: $57,000 – 63,000

The YourLife Community Programs Manager leads the design, execution, and expansion of The Women’s Resource’s community-based programming, including YourLife classes and group experiences. This role is responsible for scaling high-quality, volunteer-led programs offered both in-house and in partnership with community organizations and employers; ensuring consistent and impactful delivery; and supervising the Operations and Programs Assistant and Outreach Specialist.

This individual plays a critical role in increasing the number of classes and groups offered annually while maintaining program excellence and alignment with our mission. The role works closely with the Donor and Volunteer Engagement Manager to ensure volunteers are equipped to lead programs and the YourLife Coach Manager to align programming with participant outcomes and workforce readiness.

Program Leadership & Execution

  • Lead and manage all aspects of YourLife classes and group-based programming, including financial education classes, CareerU, Possibility Groups, and future community-based groups 
  • Design and implement scalable program structures to support growth from 350 to 500 classes annually and expansion of group offerings
  • Oversee program scheduling, logistics, and delivery to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with organizational standards
  • Regularly evaluate program effectiveness and implement improvements to strengthen participant experience and outcomes

Community & Employer Partnerships

  • Assess partner needs and suggest program offerings that integrate multiple YourLife services
  • Own and cultivate relationships with community partners and employers to expand reach, serving as the primary point of contact to ensure strong communication and partnership management

Program Design & Curriculum Development

  • Lead the development, refinement, and adaptation of YourLife program curriculum across classes and group offerings
  • Use participant feedback, outcomes, and partner input to improve relevance and impact
  • Collaborate with the YourLife Coach Manager to align curriculum with coaching practices and workforce development goals
  • Identify opportunities to develop new content based on emerging needs

Volunteer Program Delivery

  • Define volunteer roles and requirements for program delivery, including instructors, facilitators, and career-focused volunteers (e.g., mock interviews, resume reviews)
  • Partner with the Donor and Volunteer Engagement Manager to ensure volunteers are recruited, trained, and prepared to lead programs
  • Provide oversight to ensure volunteers deliver consistent, high-quality program experiences

Program Quality, Evaluation & Systems

  • Oversee tracking and reporting of program participation, outcomes, and trends using Salesforce
  • Analyze data to identify gaps, improve program effectiveness, and inform best practices
  • Lead evaluation and continuous quality improvement efforts and regularly observe programs to ensure quality and consistency

Organizational Collaboration & Accountability

  • Collaborate closely with the YourLife Coach Manager to ensure alignment between community programs and coaching outcomes, particularly in workforce development pathways
  • Work cross-functionally to align programming with organizational goals and strategic priorities
  • Drive progress toward annual goals related to program growth, reach, and impact
  • Ensure all programs uphold standards for safety, confidentiality, and excellence
  • Demonstrated experience leading or managing programs, community engagement efforts, or service delivery in a nonprofit or similar setting
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives with strong attention to detail and follow-through

Donor & Volunteer Engagement Manager

The Donor & Volunteer Engagement Manager leads the vision and execution of both donor and volunteer engagement at The Women’s Resource, playing a critical role in connecting people to the mission in meaningful and lasting ways. This individual partners across departments to align volunteer efforts with programmatic and organizational priorities, while also engaging employers and community members to not only volunteer but also give. This position requires strong attention to detail, clear and timely communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities while equipping and empowering volunteers to succeed. The Donor & Volunteer Engagement Manager ensures the organization has the right people, prepared and supported, to deliver high-quality programs and strengthen the organization’s engagement-to-giving pipeline.

Program Leadership & Execution

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the volunteer program, including recruitment, onboarding, training, communication, recognition, retention, and engagement
  • Design and implement a comprehensive volunteer strategy that aligns with programmatic, administrative, and development priorities
  • Ensure a consistent, reliable pipeline of qualified volunteers to meet the needs of all departments and initiatives
  • Anticipate and address gaps in volunteer coverage, including resolving last-minute cancellations and ensuring seamless program support

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Program Support

  • Partner closely with other department managers to assess needs, define volunteer roles, and recruit and place qualified volunteers that can ultimately enhance program effectiveness
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers, providing clear communication, guidance, and support to ensure a high-quality, meaningful volunteer experience
  • Oversee volunteer engagement across all areas of the organization, including:
    • YourLife (i.e., Finance Classes, Possibility Groups, Career Path)
    • RISE! (i.e., guest speakers, program support)
    • Fundraising events and initiatives
    • Administrative and operational support functions

Development & Partnerships

  • Work closely with the Chief Development Officer to cultivate and manage corporate partnerships by identifying, qualifying, and building relationships with new corporate partners to expand volunteer engagement and deepen community support
  • Help increase support from individual volunteers who would give their talent and time, as well as funding, to the organization
  • Serve as an ambassador for the organization by presenting volunteer opportunities to corporate partners and individuals, inspiring participation and growing long-term involvement
  • Curate and execute mission-driven volunteer and engagement events that connect volunteers and key stakeholders to the organization’s work, including experiences that directly benefit and celebrate clients

Systems, Evaluation & Accountability
