The Women’s Resource Set to Host 34th Annual Luncheon to Celebrate Houston’s Women Leaders
HOUSTON, TX (February 28, 2025) — The Women’s Resource of Greater Houston will host its 34th Annual Luncheon on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Royal Sonesta Houston Galleria. With the new theme of ‘Make a Difference,’ the organization’s longest-running annual event will ensure that the thousands of women and girls that it serves each year through its programs will continue to receive the support and resources they need to be independent, productive, and financially stable. The luncheon is expected to have 600 guests in attendance with Stellar Bank as its title sponsor.
The Annual Luncheon has historically been a premier opportunity to highlight Houston’s exceptional women leaders in the banking and finance industries. Last year’s event saw remarkable success, raising more than $350,000 – a 24% increase from 2023 – which directly supported the organization’s programs empowering women and girls through financial education and career development resources.
This year’s luncheon program will feature:
- An epic trivia showdown celebrating the power of financial knowledge and women’s empowerment
- Exclusive raffles including stays in vacation homes in Rosemary Beach, FL, and Bucerias, Mexico
