Jessica Neikirk is the Marketing and PR Director for TopDog Fireworks and TopDog Halloween Madness, responsible for the development and implementation of marketing strategies, brand management, and public relations activities. Jessica earned a BBA in Marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University. She is a member of the Chi Omega Alumnae Association of Houston, a member of the Junior League of Houston, and serves on the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation Houston Awards Dinner committee.
Immediate Past President
Cortney Cole is a Director in the Houston office of HFF with more than 16 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. She is primarily responsible for originating debt and equity placement transactions throughout the United States across all property types. Ms. Cole earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute and is a past President of the Houston Chapter of CREW. She also serves on the Advisory Board of Girls Inc. of Greater Houston.
Rosine Matthews, SVP and Regional Manager, oversees the Wells Fargo Houston Commercial Banking Group, which services middle-market companies by providing loans, treasury management and other financial products and services. Rosine serves on Wells Fargo Commercial Banking Diversity and Talent Management Council and the Women’s Leadership Council. A 25 year banking veteran, Rosine received both her B.B.A. and M.S. with a finance concentration from Texas A&M University.
Claudia graduated from St. Mary's University in San Antonio with a BA in international business and studied abroad in Rio de Janeiro. She is fluent in Spanish and English. She worked for Merrill Lynch from 1989-1990; for Citigroup from 1990-2001; for UBS International from 2001- 2009; and from 2009 to her current position with Morgan Stanley. Claudia has a CRPC (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor) designation. She has been in the financial advisory sector for 25 years serving both US residents and non-US residents. She is also a member of the Women's advisory council in her complex chosen by her management team to develop the empowerment and professional advancement of female advisors. Claudia and her husband of 24 years, Poul, are busy raising their two teenage children and playing tennis.

VP of Governance
Mary Axelrad is a member of Gray Reed & McGraw, P.C. where she works in the areas of financial services and real estate. She handles secured transactions of all types for her clients who range from local banks to private lenders and she is also heavily involved in real estate transactions. Mary is an (almost) Houston native and believes in giving back to the community. She also serves on the board of The Women’s Home and is a committee chair for CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women).
VP of Finance
Rebekah has twenty years of progressive accounting and finance experience in client-service, entrepreneurial, corporate and global environments. She currently serves as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for KBR's E&C Americas business unit. Rebekah started her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers and served in various Controller and SEC reporting roles prior to joining KBR. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Paul Theriot is President and Co-Owner of The Alesco Group of Companies, a database and direct marketing holding company. His professional background includes 20+ years of entrepreneurship, marketing and financial expertise. He joined The Women's Resource in 2013 as a member of the Finance Committee and was voted onto the Board in late 2014.

Carolyn Galfione is a Senior Wealth Advisor at Linscomb & Williams, providing high net worth individuals with Financial Planning & Investment Management services. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Carolyn graduated with a BBA in accounting from University of Texas at Austin and with an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Rice University. Carolyn is a member of several non-profit boards.
Karen Hanson-Flowers is currently Senior Vice President Contract Administration and Human Resources for Alpheus Communications. Karen serves as Chair of the Annual Giving Board for Southwestern University, is a member of the Junior League of Houston, Zeta Tau Alpha Alumni Group and the ADPi Mother’s Club. Her professional affiliations include The American Association of Professional Landmen, the Houston Association of Professional Landmen and the National Energy Services Association. Karen and her husband Joe have one daughter who is a recent graduate of Southwestern University. They enjoy traveling and fly fishing.
Yasmin Huebinger is a Vice President and Relationship Manager in the Middle Market Group at Capital One Bank where she has been since 2006. Her primary responsibilities include originating new commercial loan opportunities and providing efficient cash management solutions to both public and private companies within the manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, and not-for-profit industries. Ms. Huebinger is a native Houstonian and received a Bachelor's degree in Finance from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX. In addition to The Women's Resource, Yasmin is an active member of ACG Houston, the Greater Houston Partnership, Commercial Finance Association, and is a graduate of Leadership Houston Class XXX.

Jan Leger is Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has spent the last 17 years working in a variety of mental health and public education arenas. For the last 9 years, she has been at the University of Houston overseeing the Student Affairs division of the Graduate College of Social Work. Jan has a passion for working with students of all ages, particularly, underserved and disadvantaged populations.
Jason Qualls is a Commercial Relationship Manager in the Commercial Banking Department of BBVA Compass in Houston. He earned his B.S. in Finance from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Shortly thereafter, he moved back to Houston where he began his banking career at Bank One, NA. In 2005, Jason transitioned to Compass Bank in the commercial banking department.
